Mbar Type started with a simple conviction: designing letters should be as much fun as it is craft. The name is a nod to its founder, Małgorzata Bartosik — and a subtle wink to those who know Ħ :)

The project grew out of a love for letters — spotting them in urban spaces, sketching, designing, and discovering their endless possibilities. One of the inspirations was Bronisław Zelek — a type designer who proved that creating letterforms can be pure joy.
